Welcome to Michniowiec — a picturesque village nestled in a valley of the Bieszczady Mountains, part of the Carpathian range and one of the most authentic, unspoiled regions of Poland. It is a perfect place for soulful rest, far from the noise of the city, close to nature, local hospitality and the timeless rhythm of the Carpathians. Carpathian Hub is a unique retreat located in a carefully restored Bojkian house over one hundred years old, preserving its original log-frame construction typical of Carpathian architecture from Poland through Slovakia and Ukraine to Romania.

The house was built entirely with natural materials such as wood, clay and stone. It is fully self-sufficient, with its own crystal-clear water source, photovoltaic system, geothermal heating and a biological wastewater facility. Around the house you will find forests, a mountain stream and quiet paths through the Carpathian landscape, creating ideal conditions for hiking, observing nature, creative work and deep reflection.

We offer intimate accommodation in the Bieszczady Mountains, with rooms designed for those seeking silence, inspiration and a deeper connection with the cultural landscape. This place attracts travelers, ethnographers, scientists and artists drawn to the rhythm of nature and the cultural heritage of the Carpathians.

The hosts of Carpathian Hub have spent many years involved in humanitarian work in African villages and the jungles of the Philippines and Papua New Guinea, combining it with personal travels to the most remote corners of the world. Carpathian Hub is the result of these experiences – a space open to people, creativity, silence and genuine presence in the heart of the Polish Carpathians.

This is more than accommodation. It is an experience of living close to nature, in a place where history, wooden architecture and the culture of the Bieszczady come together as one.
